Our faculty of tutors

Transaction Banking Academy's tutors are independent transaction banking and treasury professionals with decades of real-world experience to share. They do not have products to promote or an agenda to push: just deep subject expertise and the ability to engage with banking professionals at all levels. We specialise in finding just the right tutor for every course and working with them to develop content that exactly matches the client brief.


Joost Bergen

Joost Bergen
Joost has 15+ years’ experience in the International Corporate Treasury and Cash Management community and International Transaction Banking area  as a banker (with ABN AMRO), a consultant and as an interim cash manager. He has worked for many multi-national corporations with HQ or financial centres in Europe and for several international transaction banks. His experience provides him a thorough understanding of corporate Treasury and Cash Management needs and expectations towards the (transaction) banking community. Training specialities include Treasury Organisation, International Cash Management, Transaction Banking, Liquidity Investments, Cash Flow Forecasting and FX Hedging.


Enrico Camerinelli

Enrico is Senior Analyst EMEA within Aite Group’s Wholesale Banking group, based in Europe. Mr. Camerinelli’s current research focuses on Global Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Cash Management, and the Financial Supply Chain. Prior to joining Aite Group, Mr. Camerinelli was an independent analyst and advisor to organisations such as Celent and the Supply Chain Council. Prior to that, he was Vice President and research leader of the worldwide practice of Enterprise Application Strategies at Meta Group, and a senior marketing consultant at J.D. Edwards. Mr. Camerinelli has also worked for more than 10 years in the industry as Supply Chain and Plant Manager


David Kelin

David possesses invaluable commercial experience gained from nearly 30 years working in leading organisations in the areas of liquidity, treasury and cash management.  These include Bank of America, Citibank, Lloyds Bank and Alterna Technologies.  David was also Managing Director of Swallow Business Systems - a subsidiary of Bank of America that developed the world’s first PC-based Treasury Management System – International Treasurer.  David set up his own successful consultancy business in 2004, which he later sold to Zanders NL.  David recently started a new company, ViewPoint Nine, which provides specialist Treasury advice to corporates and banks. He was the first person in Bank of America to achieve the ACT International Cash Management (ICM) qualification and was subsequently a tutor for the ACT on this course and has taught students in the UK, Belgium, Denmark and Hong Kong. He holds a degree in Business Studies from Trinity College, Dublin and a Diploma in Advanced Marketing Techniques from the College of Marketing, Dublin.


Srinath Keshavan

Srinath is a seasoned practitioner of trade finance who brings 35 years of experience to his position as lead trade and supply chain finance tutor for Transaction Banking Academy. Srinath’s career began in commercial banking and he has since worked across the Asia-Pacific region as a banker, financial controller, business manager, trainer and consultant. His roles include seven years in banking in Hong Kong, followed by a decade as head of trade finance and risk with several commodity trading firms in Singapore. He is now CEO of the consulting firm he founded, Trade Risk Consulting Pte Ltd, and has delivered Trade Finance and Risk Management training to bankers and business executives in centres of Finance and Commerce across the world. Srinath holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology and has been an adjunct faculty member at Singapore Management University.


Katarina Lodin

A commercial banker with 30+ years of international business experience,  Katarina has extensive knowledge of international business and risk management, with specific competencies in all aspects of trade finance, client relationship management as well as development and delivery of internal & external training programmes.  She is enthusiastic, results-oriented and dedicated. She also thrives in a challenging environment where motivation and development of a team is a pre-requisite to achieving targets, also when delivery must take place under pressure.


Edith Rigler

Edith is a commercial banker and leading expert on payments, with a special emphasis on SEPA. She has led a number of strategic and business planning projects for banks and payment infrastructures, chiefly in connection with the euro, the introduction of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and payments regulation, whilst continuing to speak and publish on cash management issues. Her banking career includes senior roles in payments and cash management within HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Citi and Chase Manhattan. She was educated at the University of Vienna and New York University.


Our tutors are all independent consultants in specialist areas such as cash management, trade finance, supply chain finance, corporate treasury and more. Between them they have decades of experience in delivering training to bank sales and client relationship management teams, treasury and transaction services product managers, bank marketing and communications, bank proposal writing teams and bank technology departments.
