What is Transaction Banking Academy?
Transaction Banking Academy delivers specialist training to the global transaction banking and treasury community. It is entirely independent but has close working relationships with several of the world's leading consultancies and professional bodies.
The Academy was founded in 2012 by Diana Henderson, formerly Director of Training and Events at the specialist treasury information business gtnews.com and, before that, head of In-house Training and Research Services at EuroFinance. Diana's ability to understand customer needs and put together the right package of tutor, content and delivery mechanism is second to none.
We believe we have three advantages over most training companies you will have worked with:
Communication – for the Academy to be able to deliver successful results we need to understand what it is that you want to achieve from the training so that we can develop the right training for your team . This is a consultative process so we will want to understand the full range of your training brief: size of team, experience, areas they trade in and customer profile. This will allow us to identify the best tutor for your needs. A more detailed call or meeting will take place as we design the course. An agenda is then sent to you for your approval before we deliver a course tailored to your unique requirements.
Understanding your business – The Transaction Banking Academy is made up of a faculty of experienced tutors, all of whom are consultants in their own right and remunerated directly by us - they have nothing to sell. They bring an insight from the corporate treasury world to the training we deliver, sharing real live examples from corporate treasury, case studies and practical examples that are developed to meet your needs.
Staying connected – We deliver relevant and highly-rated courses but we don’t stop there. We would like to stay in touch with you and your teams to ensure that you really are happy with the training you receive. After any formal training there always is a question that arises that you wish you had asked your tutor. That's why we build a follow-up session onto all our courses. We would like to hear how the training went and how it has altered behaviour and understanding of the teams trained. We would like to hear what went well in the real-life experience and answer any questions you still have that we can help you with.
Above all, we won't rest until your teams have the training you know they need.
